Terrarium hygiene is the be-all and end-all for a long and healthy reptile life! Especially in the bottom of the terrarium germs and microorganisms of all kinds develop - protect your reptiles from them! Unfortunately there is still a bad habit to clean the bottom of the terrarium with a shovel, which is not suitable for it! The famous plastic scoops for the cat litter tray are an example.
