The Zoo Med Turtle Dock Swimming Island fits into any aquatic terrarium, because you get this swimming island in three different sizes! The installation of the swimming island in the Aqua-Terrarium (Paludarium) is done in the twinkling of an eye: 4 powerful suction cups provide a firm hold for the Zoo Med Turtle Dock swimming island. The swimming island itself consists of an indestructible foam material, which has a great decoration factor with its deceptively real rock optics. For turtles (but also for amphibians or newts), the use of the Zoo Med Turtle Dock Swimming Island quickly results in a new favourite place: Here the terrarium animals can easily climb up (the underwater ramp makes it particularly easy) and enjoy light and warmth on the dry platform - just as it corresponds to their natural behaviour. To create such an important and healthy sunbathing spot, simply install a UV lamp or UV floodlight over the Zoo Med Turtle Dock swimming island.
The small details of the Zoo Med Turtle Dock swimming island are also convincing. So it is not necessary at all with this swimming island for Aqua-Terrarium and Paludarium to adapt the height of the swimming island to the current water level. The Zoo Med Turtle Dock swimming island has an ingenious small mechanism that is of course 100% rustproof - so there is no need to check the water level every day and you save a lot of time and additional work.
