Powerful high-pressure metal halide lamps require reliable ballasts, and this also applies to the popular SolarRaptor HID terrarium lamps. Choosing the right ballast is an absolute prerequisite for high-performance lamps of this kind to develop their full potential and achieve a long service life. With the SolarRaptor ECG, you are definitely doing everything right, because this ballast is characterized by high-quality technology and child's play handling. The modern SolarRaptor ECG is far superior to all conventional ballasts and permanently ensures perfect light output. Only an electronic ballast can provide uniform, flicker-free light and eliminate the sometimes annoying "50 Hz humming" of conventional ballasts. Not least of all: The SolarRaptor ECG ensures reduced power consumption and increases the service life of terrarium lamps.

The fact that the SolarRaptor ECG has a lot of good things in it is already clear from the housing: this ballast is made entirely of aluminium. Because of the optics? Of course not! Diese Zuleitung lässt sich an jeder E27-Ringkontaktfassung montieren, wobei Sie zum Betrieb im Terrarium natürlich eine sichere Keramikfassung (Porzellanfassung) verwenden. Spielraum bei der Installation im Terrarium bietet das Solar Raptor EVG jedenfalls reichlich. Das elektronische Vorschaltgerät ist nämlich beidseitig mit je 180 cm Zuleitung ausgestattet, was auch für große Terrarien ausreicht. Zudem ist das SolarRaptor EVG an beiden Kabelenden mit sicheren und praktischen Schraubsteckverbindungen versehen. Das ist nicht nur einfach und flexibel, es macht die Montage noch einfacher. Denn: Ein minimales Loch reicht schon aus, um das Kabel in das Terrarium zu führen. Ein passender, hochwertiger Schuko-Stecker für die Stromversorgung ist natürlich auch mit dabei. Das Vorschaltgerät erfüllt übrigens die Kriterien der Schutzklasse IP20, was bedeutet, dass Sie das SolarRaptor EVG nur in trockenen Räumen betreiben sollten. Für jeden, der sein Terrarium nicht im Bad aufgebaut hat, das geringste Problem.
