The Solar Raptor UV Mixed Lamp is a real powerhouse for the illumination of your terrarium and the UV values know how to impress. As UV and heat source also for larger desert and steppe terrariums, the Solar Raptor UV mixed light lamp is definitely the right choice. You can optimally combine this powerful UV lamp with a suitable basic lighting - a daylight fluorescent tube or other daylight lamps. So the Solar Raptor UV mixed light lamp can play out its advantages perfectly. These are particularly in the UV range - here the Solar Raptor UV mixed light emitter convinces by a permanently stable spectrum and supplies reptiles with a high UV requirement with everything necessary for a healthy development. UV-B radiation provides vital vitamin D3 synthesis, essential for reptile bones and armour. Many dangerous deficiency diseases are prevented by sufficient UV irradiation. UV-A promotes the well-being, agility and appetite of your protégés and also ensures that reptiles can see properly. Unfortunately, many keepers are still unaware that reptilian eyes have an additional color receptor and that "color vision" is only optimized when UV-A radiation comes into play. We hold firmly: UV radiation brings the Solar Raptor UV mixed light emitter in the rich measure!
The Solar Raptor UV mixed light emitter also allows muscles to play with heat radiation. It is an efficient heating element and increases the terrarium temperature abundantly. So make sure you use a protective cage or grid to protect your reptiles from injury.

The average service life of 3000 hours specified by the manufacturer is also good. At the latest after one year the Solar Raptor UV mixed light emitter must be exchanged however in each case - the UV values sink after this period simply too strongly.
