It is a filigree and dreamlike root.
The filigree roots, known from the world of Takashi Amano's natural aquariums, are an enrichment for every aquarium. If desired, the highly pressure cleaned surface of the root can be additionally decorated with moss or plants like anubias or ferns. The roots are a natural wood that has been preserved for many thousands of years under oxygen exclusion. Besides its decorative function, the bog-root also has a stabilizing influence on the water parameters and offers protection and hiding places.
The root can be used immediately in dry and rainforest terrariums. In aquariums the root should be watered or can be weighted down with a stone or other heavy object for 1-2 weeks in the beginning to keep it under water. During this time, the water can easily become coloured and humic acid is released, which is especially appreciated by shrimps and crabs - algae growth is also inhibited;
As this product is a natural product, the roots shown may vary.
