Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II incubator incubator for incubating reptile eggs
When it comes to the incubation of reptile eggs, there is no way around the Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II Incubator. If you think that the Herp Nursery II from Lucky Reptile is just another incubator for reptiles, you're wrong: The Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II Incubator is the only second generation incubator to succeed the well-known Herp Nursery. In addition to the technical equipment, size and range of functions, the perfectly thought-out design of this incubator is particularly convincing.
The Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II Incubator uses the Peltier technique. This enables temperature control not only by heating, but also by cooling. This detail is particularly important for reptile eggs in summer. You can be sure: Thanks to the cooling function, sensitive reptile clutches can be successfully hatched in the attic with the Herp Nursery II even in midsummer.
With a temperature range from approx. 5° C to 60° C, the Lucky Reptile incubator Herp Nursery II is particularly flexible. Of course, the temperature in the incubator is controlled completely digitally via a digital thermostat. A rocker button on the outside of the Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II Incubator can be used to set the desired temperature in 1°C increments. Within the incubator there is a temperature gradient of approx. 4° C between the upper and lower floors. This is absolutely perfect when a terrarium keeper has to incubate the clutches of different reptile species at the same time and they have different temperature requirements. However, the temperature gradient has also proved its worth with reptile breeders who have to incubate many clutches of reptile eggs. Eggs that are about to hatch generate a lot of heat! So, all the clutches that are about to hatch are placed on the lower floor of the Herp Nursery II incubator, while the fresh reptile eggs are placed on the upper floor. In addition to the height-adjustable grate for the second floor, a special insert for water, which is used to control the humidity in the incubator, is of course also included in the scope of delivery.
Our testers also liked the well insulated housing of the Herp Nursery II incubator. This not only helps to reduce electricity costs to a minimum with a consumption of only approx. 10 watts per hour. Thanks to the insulation, this incubator for reptiles keeps the temperature particularly long even in the event of a power failure. Want to know what's going on inside the Herp Nursery II Incubator? That was also thought of. The interior lighting can be switched on at the push of a button to control the fabrics. The lighting inside the incubator is designed in such a way that even freshly hatched reptiles are not frightened. This incubator for reptiles comes with a 12-volt connection, which is absolutely ingenious. So if your power fails for a long time, simply plug the appropriate plug into the car's cigarette lighter and the Lucky Reptile Herp Nursery II will work! Completely independent of location and power grid! This also opens up completely new fields of application: You can finally transport reptile eggs safely and share the incubator with a friend, for example a terrarium keeper. Another outstanding feature of the Herp Nursery II is the air-conditioned transport of reptiles to, for example, reptile fairs or terrarium fairs, to the vet or simply on the way to a new home.
