Lucky Reptile Bright Control HQ ballast for terrariums
The Bright Control HQ from Lucky Reptile is a ballast specially designed for the safe installation of HQL lamps in the terrarium. Please note: The Lucky Reptile Bright Control HQ ballast is NOT for the Lucky Reptile Bright Sun but only for real HQL lamps. HQL lamps (mercury vapour lamps) are among the most popular light sources when it comes to the illumination of terrariums, as they have an enormous light output. The only problem: the ballast required for mercury vapour lamps. Unfortunately, complicated wiring and installation work is often necessary in the terrarium, which may only be carried out by an electrician.
With the Bright Control HQ, Lucky Reptile tackles exactly this problem. The Bright Control HQ features the original Lucky Reptile plug-and-play connector. A plug that fits exactly on the Thermo Socket Pro ceramic sockets and of course the Plug and Play Thermo Socket Plus reflector set. Simply plug together, screw in HQL and you're done. The Bright Control HQ is delivered ready to use and ready to connect - all you have to do is choose the right frame.
Great importance has also been attached to the safety of the Bright Control HQ. In contrast to many other products, this ballast for HQL is housed together with the capacitor in a touch-proof housing, which protects against burns and electrical accidents. The Lucky Reptile Bright Control HQ is available in three versions for 50, 80 and 125 W HQL. Of course, the Bright Control HQ is suitable for all types of HQL - regardless of the manufacturer.
