All this combined in a high-quality UV lamp, which can convince by highest processing quality and long life span. You will notice this as soon as you unpack the lamp: A Hobby UV Reptile vital UV flat lamp has a particularly robust lamp body made of special tempered glass, ideal for use in the terrarium. But that's not all, because the Hobby UV Reptile vital UV floodlights correspond to the latest state of the art in terms of light distribution in the terrarium. In other words: an optimum beam angle of 45° and a special honeycomb structure of the lamp glass, which enables a wide, diffuse light diffusion, ensure perfect terrarium lighting in combination. In the UV range, the Hobby UV Reptile vital UV floodlights also leave nothing to be desired: Reptiles are optimally supplied with vital UV-A and UV-B radiation in a balanced ratio, without driving the electricity bill to astronomical heights. Modern lamp technology is very noticeable here and ensures that Hobby UV Reptile vital UV floodlights consume significantly less electricity than comparable UV floodlights for terrariums. In other words, these UV floodlights are simply incredibly energy-efficient and have a particularly long service life. You can also save yourself a ballast with your Hobby UV Reptile vital UV flood lamp - this is already integrated in this ingenious high performance terrarium lamp. Hobby UV Reptile vital UV floodlights can be operated in any conventional E27 socket - but of course you must always use a safe ceramic socket (porcelain socket) to maximise safety in the terrarium. The mini version of the Hobby UV Eco vital with only 70 watts is also completely new, and the size of a normal spotlight makes it the smallest UV surface emitter with filament technology at all.

Especially compact (size of a normal spot lamp!) and perfect for small terrariums is the Hobby UV Eco vital with its 70 Watt. The spectrum has been optimized for all tropical reptiles and offers an ideal mix of light, heat and UV-A/B. Compared to other UV surface emitters, the UV Eco is particularly energy-saving. The optimum distance with a UV-B value of 100 µW/cm² wird bei einem einem Abstand von +/- 35 cm zum Tier erreicht.
