The most convenient and certainly the most reliable way of temperature control is without a doubt the use of a good thermostat. The hobby Biotherm eco terrarium thermostat shows how inexpensive high-quality terrarium technology can be today. Hobby Biotherm eco is fully microprocessor controlled and features high accuracy and easy operation. In addition, there is a very good processing, which provides for the necessary robustness in the terrarium everyday life. Beginners will have no problems with the Hobby Biotherm eco thermostat from the beginning, while professionals in terraristics will not miss any functions with the Hobby Biotherm eco.
What exactly can the Biotherm eco hobby do? Actually everything you need in the terrarium to always be able to offer your reptiles the right temperature conditions. This starts with the integrated night setback, which you can of course freely program with the Hobby Biotherm eco. You can always rely on the accuracy of your Biotherm eco hobby. The maximum deviation in the display accuracy is only +/- 0.1°C, and the temperature sensor itself has a pleasingly low tolerance of +/- 0.5°C maximum. The integrated alarm function of the Hobby Biotherm eco keeps you of course informed about all deviations. Here you can of course determine the permissible deviation yourself - choose from a range between 0.1 and 10°C. When it comes to safety, the Hobby Biotherm eco is definitely exemplary, because while you are programming, the slot is automatically switched off to protect electrical equipment from damage. Also top: The temperature sensor of the Hobby Biotherm eco is connected to the housing via USB connection! If this connection is disturbed (e.g. due to a cable break or another defect), the Hobby Biotherm eco Thermostat indicates this in the display and switches off the heat source in the terrarium to prevent overheating. In contrast to many other terrarium thermostats, the temperature sensor of the Hobby Biotherm eco can be replaced. That saves a lot of money in the case of a case. With a cable length of 3 metres, you naturally have a great deal of freedom when laying the temperature sensor. The functional diversity of the Hobby Biotherm eco thermostat is rounded off by a real-time clock, a practical inversion function with which you can easily switch between heating and cooling and a function monitoring of the connected devices by means of a permanent control LED.
