With the Dragon Deluxe heating mat you make the right choice if you need cheap and reliable heating technology for your terrarium. Here the Dragon Deluxe heating mat meets all requirements for modern safety and energy efficiency! The Dragon Deluxe heating mat is 100% waterproof and is made of particularly hard-wearing, rot-free material, which is hardly tiring in the hard everyday life of a terrarium. In addition, the Dragon Deluxe heating mat radiates its heat evenly over the entire surface. This ingenious and extremely inexpensive heating mat belongs to protection class 1, which means that the Dragon Deluxe heating mat can also be used in wet terrarium environments, as is usual for rainforest terrariums. The 1.5 metre long supply cable with plug provides plenty of scope for safe installation, even in larger terrariums. Please note, however, that all heating mats should always be protected by a thermostat and a FI switch. Damages by reptiles and other terrarium inhabitants are to be avoided as well as any kind of heat accumulation to avoid fire or glass breakage due to thermal stresses.
The Dragon Deluxe heating mat also impresses with its effective heat output and low power consumption - from 10 Watt Dragon Deluxe heating mats in the terrarium provide healthy heat. In concrete figures this means: If the Dragon Deluxe heating mat can radiate freely, i.e. if it lies uncovered in the terrarium and is not insulated from below, it will reach a surface temperature of 38° C at an ambient temperature of 20° C. Effect: Dangerous heat accumulation is avoided and the terrarium glass cannot crack.
