Our coconut chips - substrate made of coconut fibres
Especially in rainforest terrariums coconut chips are very good. The coconut chips are dust-free and absorb moisture effectively. This prevents waterlogging, which is unhealthy for reptiles, and also protects the respiratory tracts of reptiles. At the same time, the substrate is feather-light, which is due to its processing: as the name suggests, the coconut chips consist of 100% coconut fibres. The absorbent properties of the coconut fibre make the coconut chips a perfect substrate in tropical wet terrariums. In combination with humus bricks, the coconut chips even serve as a useful substrate for insects such as centipedes or spiders.
Of course, an appealing and natural look perfectly rounds off the advantages of the coconut chips. With two different package sizes we adapt our offer to your needs. Remember: The larger the package, the greater the price savings!
