Arcadia Ultra Seal - the waterproof operating unit for fluorescent tubes
Question: What should a really well thought-out terrarium product look like? Answer: For example, like the Arcadia Ultra Seal - the high-quality and waterproof operating unit for fluorescent tubes. What's the matter with you? Quite simple: The Arcadia Ultra Seal operating unit is a prime example of a perfectly designed and manufactured piece of terrarium lighting technology. Especially in humid terrariums and especially in aqua terrariums, the problem often arises that the service life of light sources decreases considerably, because the stresses caused by high humidity and splashing water are very high. With the Arcadia Ultra Seal, you don't have to worry about anything like that. This top operating unit not only comes to you in the proven Arcadia quality - it is actually completely waterproof in terrarium operation (with fluorescent tubes used). This is not surprising, as this operating unit was designed for continuous use in aquariums. The Arcadia Ultra Seal meets the test criteria according to protection class IP67 (according to EN 60529: 2000). And that's good? Oh, yes, it is! In this test process, the figure 7 stands for a 30-minute immersion in a dip tank - the water height must be at least 1 meter above the object to be tested. But please don't get the wrong idea: Passing this test does not mean that you should operate your Arcadia Ultra Seal unit under water! It merely shows that this operating unit is particularly insensitive to water.
But the Arcadia Ultra Seal operating unit also has everything you would expect from a high-quality lighting product for terrariums. Mounting the Arcadia Ultra Seal in the terrarium is easy - the supplied universal bracket allows you to mount the Arcadia Ultra Seal operating unit in virtually any position. As usual with Arcadia, practical clips are included, with which you can easily fix Arcadia reflectors securely to the operating unit. 45 cm mains cable are also a high standard and facilitate the laying of the power cable. The Arcadia Ultra Seal operating unit meets the latest safety standards in every respect! And before you ask: A convenient on/off switch is of course also integrated in the housing - so the Arcadia Ultra Seal operating unit does not require the annoying pulling of cables.
The Arcadia Ultra Seal operating units are available in 4 different versions. All versions are suitable for conventional T8 fluorescent tubes (26 mm diameter):
