How to order in our shop - explained step by step

Step 1: Choose the right products
Just like in a real shop, you put the products you want to buy in your shopping cart. To do this, click on the "Add to cart" button next to the product. For products which are available in several variants (e.g. different wattage, colours or sizes), please select the desired variant first and then click on "Add to cart". As soon as you have placed an item in your shopping cart, this process will be confirmed in a small window. From here you now have the possibility to continue shopping or go to the checkout with your products from the shopping cart.

Step 2: The Shopping Cart
For control you see now your complete shopping cart with all articles, which you would like to order. Check here if everything is complete. In the shopping cart you also have the possibility to change the number of products (+/- click on symbols) or to remove a product from the shopping cart (click on the trash can symbol). You can also change the variant of an article in the shopping cart if the product is available in several versions - this applies, for example, to terrarium lamps, which we offer in different wattages. Use the pencil symbol next to the product. If you are satisfied with the contents of the shopping cart, press the "Checkout" button.

Step 3: Create customer account / enter address data
You can now choose whether you want to log in to your existing customer account (simply enter your email address and password), whether you want to create a customer account or whether you want to order from us without registering. In contrast to many other online shops you are not forced to create a customer account, but we would recommend a customer account. If you have selected "I am a new customer" or " order as a guest", you will now be forwarded to enter your address data. Please note that the fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completely filled in to place your order. You can also specify whether your goods are to be sent to a different address or to a DHL Packstation. You must also accept our data protection declaration (simply tick the appropriate box with a mouse click). Of course you can and should read this privacy policy in advance by simply clicking on the appropriate link.

Step 4: Select shipping method
With us you have the possibility to choose between two carriers. In addition to DHL, you can also choose DPD. Please note that this selection is partly limited by our products, so it is not possible, for example, to send fluorescent tubes from a certain length by DHL.

Step 5: Choose payment method
Now it's almost done. Now choose how you would like to pay. Simply click on the payment option that is most convenient for you. Depending on the payment method, you will be shown on the right side informations about the payment method, or other sub-selection options (eg Paypal Plus). Press now on "next".

Step 6: The final checkout
You will now see a summary of all important data for your order. Here you can correct your address data if you find an error. Now everything is done. Now press the button "Send order" and your order will be sent to us.

Why should I create a customer account?

Through your customer account you register at This has many advantages. You can call up your orders and track their current status. Or you can conveniently manage your addresses. Today you can have your goods sent to your office and to your home with your next order. No more typing forever, just select your address and you're done. You can also change your personal data, for example if you have a new e-mail address.

Tip: Be as specific as possible. If you are looking for a fluorescent tube for your terrarium, type for example "fluorescent tube" and not just "lamp".

Can I order by phone or fax?

We can only accept orders that have been initiated by you via the online shop.

Can I pick up goods at your place?

A pick up of goods is unfortunately not possible.
