The protection of your data is important to us. Of course, we collect, store and use your data only in accordance with the legal requirements. Below you will be informed about the way in which we collect, store and process your data.
Responsible for the processing of your data:
II. Rights of data subjects
1) You have the right,
- pursuant to Art. 15 DSGVO for information on the personal data concerning you that we have processed and on the information listed in Art. 15 para. 1 lit. a)-h) DSGVO. In particular, you may request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of an automated decision-making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details ("right of information");
- in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, to immediately request the rectification of incorrect personal data concerning you and the completion of incomplete personal data ("right of rectification");
- to request the deletion of personal data concerning you in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims ("right to deletion");
- to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO ("Right to Limitation of Processing");
- in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data which you have transmitted to us in the course of consent or for the execution of the contract in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another responsible person, insofar as this is technically feasible and the rights and freedoms of other persons are not impaired ("right to data transmission");
- in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO to revoke your consent given to us at any time. In this case, we may not continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, whereby the legality of the processing based on your consent until revocation is not affected ("right to revoke consents");
- not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing - including profiling - which has legal effect for you or which similarly significantly affects you, in accordance with Art. 22 DSGVO, unless the decision is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, is permissible by law or is not made with your express consent.
2) Right of objection
If data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO, you also have the right to object to such processing at any time in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO if there are reasons for doing so which arise from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct advertising or profiling in connection therewith. If you object, we may no longer process your personal data unless it can be proven that there are compelling reasons for the processing that are worthy of protection and outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or that the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. This exception does not apply if your objection is directed against direct advertising or related profiling. In this case, we may no longer process your personal data for this purpose. To exercise your right of objection, you can send us an e-mail, for example.
3) Right of appeal
Pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, you also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at our company headquarters.
III. processing of your personal data and purpose of the processing
1) Your visit to our website
When you visit our website, the browser you are using automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. Data is collected and processed on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) DSGVO for the purpose of establishing a smooth connection to the website, convenient use of our website, evaluation of system security and stability and for other administrative purposes.
This is the following information, which is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:
- IP address of the requesting computer,
- Date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Website from which access is made (so-called referrer URL),
- the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.
2) Contract execution
a) When you buy products in this online shop, you provide us with your personal data during the ordering process, e.g. by entering your data when opening a customer account. We process your data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO for the fulfilment and processing of the contract concluded with you. For this purpose, your data will be forwarded to the transport company DHL - Deutsche Post AG, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn / Hermes Germany GmbH, Essener Straße 89, 22419 Hamburg for the dispatch of the goods to you and used for invoicing and communication with you.
b) If you have created a customer account, the data stored by you will be stored permanently until you delete your customer account or object to further processing. In all other respects we store your data under consideration of the entitled interests for the duration, which corresponds to the regular statute of limitations (3 years beginning with the end of the year, in which you made the data known to us). Your data will then be deleted unless we are required by law to retain it for a longer period of time, e.g. for the storage of invoices (10 years) or business letters (6 years) in accordance with § 147 AO. In such cases, your data will be blocked for use for the duration of further storage and then deleted.
You have the possibility to subscribe to a newsletter. By registering for the newsletter, you consent, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO, to our using your e-mail address and name to send you regular promotional e-mails ("newsletters"). In this case, your data (name and e-mail address) will be stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or otherwise revoke your consent to us. You can unsubscribe at any time, e.g. via a link at the end of each newsletter, or by sending us your unsubscribe request by e-mail.
4) Use of the contact form
You can send us a message via our contact form. By sending us your message, you consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) DSGVO to the processing of your personal data transmitted with your message in such a way that we may use it for the purpose of answering or processing your request and communicating with you. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after you have completed your request.
5) Payment processing
Depending on which payment method you select during the ordering process, you may disclose your data to third parties or agree to a credit check in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 a) DSGVO. You can find the corresponding information in the following points.
If the payment method "PayPal" is selected as part of the online order process, payment is processed via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. You will then have to log in with your PayPal account details or open a PayPal account. When you open an account, you provide PayPal with your personal information. The data processing by PayPal is thus carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. PayPal uses the information in your PayPal account to first identify you and then process the payment.
Further information on PayPal's data protection regulations can be found here: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full?locale.x=en_DE
(b) purchase on account and hire purchase (Klarna)
If you have chosen Klarna's payment services Klarna invoice and Klarna installment purchase as payment option, you have agreed that we have collected and transmitted to Klarna the following personal data necessary for the processing of the invoice purchase and an identity and credit check, such as first and last name, address, date of birth, gender, email address, telephone number as well as the data necessary for the processing of the invoice purchase in connection with the order, such as the number of articles, article number, invoice amount and taxes in percent. This data is transmitted so that Klarna can issue an invoice and carry out an identity and credit check to process your purchase with the invoice processing you have requested. According to the Federal Data Protection Act, Klarna has a legitimate interest in the transfer of the buyer's personal data and requires this in order to obtain information from credit agencies for the purpose of identity and credit checks. In Germany these can be the following credit agencies:
- Schufa Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65203 Wiesbaden, Germany
- Bürgel Wirtschaftsinformationen GmbH & Co. KG, P.O. Box 5001 66, 22701 Hamburg, Germany
- Creditreform Bremen Seddig KG, Contrescarpe 17, 28203 Bremen, Germany
- infoscore Consumer Data GmbH, Rheinstraße 99, 76532 Baden-Baden, Germany
As part of the decision on the establishment, execution or termination of the contractual relationship, Klarna also collects and uses information on the buyer's previous payment behaviour and probability values for this behaviour in the future in addition to an address check. Klarna calculates these score values on the basis of a scientifically recognized mathematical statistical method. Klarna will also use your address data for this purpose. If after this calculation it becomes apparent that your creditworthiness is not given, Klarna will inform you immediately.
Withdrawal of the use of personal data from Klarna
You can withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time by Klarna. However, Klarna may still be entitled to process, use and transmit the personal data if this is necessary, legally required or required by a court of law or an authority.
2 You can of course obtain information about the personal data stored by Klarna at any time. This right is guaranteed by the Federal Data Protection Act. Should you, as a buyer, wish to do so or wish to inform Klarna of any changes to the stored data, you can contact us at Datenschutz@klarna.de .
c) Amazon Payments
If the payment method Amazon Payments is selected, payment is processed directly by the payment service provider Amazon Payments Europe s.c.a., 5 Rue Plaetis, L-2338 Luxembourg. If you select "Amazon Payments" as the payment method during the online ordering process, you must first log in with your Amazon account details or create an Amazon account. When you create the account, you provide Amazon with your personal information. The data processing by Amazon is thus carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. Amazon Payments uses the information in your Amazon account to first identify you and then process the payment.
When selecting the payment method Sofortüberweisung you will be forwarded to the website www.sofortüberweisung.de and enter your data there. The operator is Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden. Please note the data protection information there.
The data processed by cookies are necessary for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
Note: You can set your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. We would like to point out as a precaution that the complete deactivation of cookies can lead to the fact that not all functions of our website can be used.
7) Analysis and advertising tools
a) Google Analytics
For analysis purposes we use the tool "Google Analytics", a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google"). This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in the optimal marketing, ongoing optimization and demand-oriented design of our offer within the framework of a weighing of interests. The processing of your data described below is therefore carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO.
Google Analytics uses "cookies" (see point 6). The information generated by the cookie, such as browser type/version, operating system used, the previously visited page (so-called referrer URL), IP address (host name of the accessing computer) and time of the server request are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation is activated on our website, i.e. your IP address is shortened by Google beforehand. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is also not merged with other data from Google, which excludes conclusions about your person.
b) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
We use "Google AdWords" and in this context conversion tracking, an analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google"), to statistically evaluate the use of our website for the purpose of optimisation. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie (see Section 6) is placed on your device. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, contain no personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we may recognize that you clicked on the ad and were directed to the relevant website. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie, so no cookies can be tracked through our web pages. The conversion cookie allows us to track the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can prevent cookies from being set by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Further information on conversion tracking can be found at the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
c) Facebook pixels
We use "Facebook pixels", an advertising tool provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (hereinafter referred to as "Facebook"), to serve interest-based advertisements to visitors to our Web site. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our offer as part of a balancing of interests. The processing of your data described below is therefore carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO.
For the "Facebook Pixel" service, a "cookie" (cf. Section 6) is set in order to enable an analysis of your user behaviour after you have been forwarded to our website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. The information generated in this way (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are also logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account, link it to your person and use it for its own advertising purposes. Facebook also uses this data about your user behavior to evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of advertisements on Facebook for statistical and market research purposes.
If you do not wish this data processing to take place, you can prevent it by setting an opt-out cookie by clicking on the following link: https://www.reptilienkosmos.de/ueber-uns/rechtliches/cookie/
You can find further information about the processing of your data by Facebook, as well as your related rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy in the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
8) Trusted Shops Trustbadge
The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and the possibly collected evaluations as well as to offer the Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of the Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne. This serves the protection of our interests in an optimal marketing of our offer in the context of a balance of interests outweighing legitimate interests. The processing of your data described in the following takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO.
When the trust badge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. These access data are not evaluated and are automatically overwritten at the latest seven days after the end of your page visit.
Further personal data is only transferred to Trusted Shops if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or if you have already registered for use. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.
9) Social Media Plug-ins
We use social media plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Google+ on our website for advertising purposes and to personalize the use of our website for you. The advertising purpose behind this is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
We integrate these plug-ins by means of the so-called "Shariff solution", i.e. buttons corresponding to the plug-ins are integrated, but no connection from your browser to the respective networks is established without the buttons being activated. Only when the button is actively pressed by you will data be processed in accordance with the following points.
On our website, we use social plugins ("plugins") of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, to make the use of our website more personal for you. The buttons can be recognized by the Facebook logo (white "f" on a blue background, with the words "like", "like" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook". The list and the appearance of the Facebook button can be viewed here:
With the Shariff solution, we display buttons according to the respective social plug-ins, with the difference that when you access our websites with the buttons displayed, no connection is established from your browser to Facebook. A script retrieves how often a page has already been split or clicked. It contacts Facebook via the programming interfaces (APIs) of the services and retrieves the numbers. Therefore, only the server address is transferred to Facebook (not your IP address). Only when you actively press the Facebook button, e.g. to share content, is a connection established from your browser to the Facebook servers. This gives Facebook the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our Internet presence. This information (including your IP address) is then transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are also logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly assign your visit to our website to your Facebook account. Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and tailoring Facebook Pages to your needs. For this purpose, Facebook creates profiles in order to provide further services associated with the use of Facebook. To prevent Facebook from receiving data about you via our website that can be assigned to your Facebook account, log out of Facebook before using the Facebook button.
You can find further information on the processing of your data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, in Facebook's data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
Plug-ins of the Twitter Inc. short message network 795 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Twitter") are integrated on our website. You will find an overview of the Twitter buttons in the following link: https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons
With the Shariff solution, we display buttons according to the respective social plug-ins, with the difference that your browser does not connect to Twitter when you access our websites with the buttons displayed. A script retrieves how often, for example, a page has already been split. It contacts Twitter via the programming interfaces (APIs) of the services and retrieves the numbers. Therefore, only the server address is transmitted to Twitter (not your IP address). Only when you actively press the Twitter button, e.g. to share content, will a direct connection be established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Twitter button while logged into your Twitter account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Twitter profile. This allows Twitter to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its exact use by Twitter. If you want to prevent Twitter from assigning visits to our pages, please log out of your Twitter user account before using the Twitter button.
You can find further information on the processing of your data by Twitter, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, in Twitter's data protection information: https://twitter.com/privacy
On our website we use plug-ins of the social network Google+ (Google Plus) of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California, 94043 USA, ("Google").
With the Shariff solution, we display buttons according to the respective social plug-ins, with the difference that when you visit our websites with the buttons displayed, your browser does not connect to Google. A script retrieves how often, for example, a page has already been split. It contacts Google via the programming interfaces (APIs) of the services and retrieves the numbers. Therefore, only the server address is transmitted to Google (not your IP address). Only when you actively press the Google button, e.g. to share content, will a direct connection be established between your browser and the Google server. Google receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. In order to use the Google button, you need a Google profile. If you press the Google button while logged in to Google+, Google collects browser-related information via your Google profile, e.g. the URL recommended by you as well as your IP address. Your recommendations can be displayed as hints in Google services (e.g. in search results) and advertisements on the Internet together with your profile name and, if applicable, your photo. In addition, the information provided by you is used by Google to optimize Google services. Google may publish aggregated statistics about users' +1 activities or share them with customers. If you want to prevent Google from assigning the data collected via our website directly to your Google account, please log out of Google before using the Google button.
Further information on the processing of your data by Google, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in Google's data protection information:
